Join us on April 20, 2026, from 8 am to 4 pm in Sacramento, CA, for the NAACP CA/HI annual Day at the Capitol. We’ll convene at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel (1230 J St, Sacramento, CA 95814) and head straight into action. This signature advocacy event brings together NAACP members, youth leaders, and advocates from across California for an engaging day of civic engagement, education, and direct action.

Annual Day At The Capitol offers participants a unique opportunity to engage in the legislative process by discussing key policy priorities, meeting with California’s elected officials, and amplifying the voices of our communities at the State Capitol. This immersive experience is designed to empower attendees—especially our youth—to better understand how legislation impacts civil rights, equity, and justice.
