The 39th Annual NAACP CA/HI Convention will bring NAACP members, leaders, youth, elected officials, advocates, and community partners from across California and Hawaii to Long Beach October 22–25, at a defining moment for our communities and our democracy. Under the theme “We the People: Will Not Be Deterred,” we are coming together not simply to discuss the challenges before us, but to organize, strategize, build leadership, strengthen our collective voice, and leave prepared to act. With the November 3 General Election immediately ahead, our time together in Long Beach will help prepare our branches, members, and communities for the work before us. The decisions made in this election will affect voting rights, education, housing, economic opportunity, health, public services, and the future of our communities. We must be informed. The Convention will be held at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach, 200 S. Pine Ave., Long Beach, CA 90802. An exclusive NAACP CA/HI hotel rate of $209 per night is available, with the hotel reservation deadline on September 20, 2026, subject to availability.
