Kick off the 39th Annual NAACP CA/HI State Convention aboard the historic Queen Mary with the President’s Dinner, an evening of fellowship, inspiration, and celebration. Join NAACP CA/HI leaders, members, elected officials, community advocates, and distinguished guests as we gather to reflect on our shared mission and set the tone for an impactful Convention.

The evening will feature Captain James Sanders, a prominent Staff Captain and long-serving ambassador aboard the historic Queen Mary, who will share the ship’s rich history, memorable stories, and insight into his role in preserving and representing this legendary vessel.

This year’s dinner theme is Harlem Nights at Sea, inspired by the sophisticated glamour and vintage style of the Harlem Renaissance era. Guests are encouraged to embrace the theme with Harlem Renaissance Glamour / Formal attire—timeless elegance, polished evening wear, Art Deco-inspired style, and vintage glamour.
