Together, we’ll celebrate Dr. Alice A. Huffman’s bold steps towards change, her unwavering commitment, bravery and 20 years of leadership within the California Hawaii State Conference NAACP.
The 9th Annual Legacy Hall of Fame event will host a unique blend of visual technology, live music, two virtual event receptions an interactive photo booth, speaker presentations from California’s most formidable and respected leaders with a special guest to be announced the night of.
This sell out event is our signature program with proceeds from The Legacy Hall of Fame event to fund local unit capacity building, CA/HI NAACP racial equity advocacy efforts, youth leadership programs, CA/HI NAACP Lobby Day, leadership development initiatives and programs for the year. The Legacy Hall of Fame allows us to honor those who work and support the mission of the NAACP which is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights for all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and discrimination.

Legacy Hall of Fame 2019 – A Look Back
February 11, 2019, CA/HI State Conference NAACP raised a glass in honoring Legacy Hall of Fame recipient Ron Dellums – Posthumously.
A beautiful Sacramento night was spent at the Crocker Art Museum with CA/HI State Conference NAACP supporters, colleges, friends and family
in this annual celebration and tradition.
